Globally Harmonized System Label Elements

Bortek Industries have updated all packaging, case labeling, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) formerly known as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all our chemical products in order to comply with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals. In order to make it a little easier for you and your team to understand what all these GHS icons mean, exactly, we have a quick reference guide for you-- all based on OSHA's communicated standards.

Globally Harmonized System- What the icons mean

These changes to the Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) were established by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), and ensures a competent process for internationally standardized hazard communication and classification. For additional information, be sure to check out OSHA's standards regarding SDS and Labeling of chemical products.
